Summary
Moving into a small apartment during a rough time in life, nothing about it felt permanent. It was just a place to get through for a while, and at first, everything seemed normal enough.
Then the small things started. Lights turning back on after being shut off. Cabinets left slightly open. The kind of details you can explain away… until they keep happening. And when both of them began feeling like they weren’t alone, it became harder to ignore.
Still, nothing really prepared them for what happened one night.
Lying in bed with the TV as the only light in the room, something appeared in the doorway. Not just a shadow, but something darker. Still. Watching.
And in that moment, when they both realized they were seeing the exact same thing at the same time, whatever doubt was left disappeared with it.
