Thank you for joining us for our live coverage of the sentencing of Brian Koeberger, the man who took the lives of four Idaho college students in late 2020.

Let's take you right now directly to the courthouse in Moscow, Idaho.

Sentencing of Brian Koeberger is getting underway right now.

This is 0-1-24-3-1-66-6-6-5 state of Idaho versus Brian

Kohlberger, defendant is present in custody with counsel,

Ms. Taylor, Ms. Masoth, Ms. Barlow.

The state is represented by Mr. Thompson, Ms. Jennings, Mr. Hurwitt, Mr. Nye, and Ms. Allen.

This is the time set for sentencing in this case.

The defendant previously entered a plea of guilty to four counts of first-degree murder and one count of felony

burglary. In exchange, the party stipulated to recommend a sentence consisting of on burglary 10 years

fixed on each of the four counts first-degree murder life fixed.

The parties waived pre-sentence investigation.

To my understanding, neither party submitted a sentencing memorandum or other materials for the court. The court is familiar with the file and the evidence submitted previously by the parties as it has reviewed them throughout the case and in anticipation of trial.
