In the first part of the secret life of Dolly Sharp, I went in search of the enigmatic deep throat actor with the mysterious past and who seemed to disappear from the face of the earth back in 1972.

Dolly Sharp came in my office one afternoon, dressed in a trench coat, high-heel shoes,

put her right coat down and her umbrella and turned around me. She says, I'm Dolly Sharp.

She was wonderful. She played Linda's friend and I really don't know where she came from or where she ended up because I've never seen her again since.

Which was a shame because I certainly would have used. She was wonderful.

I said, tell me what you're doing. She was wonderful.

I said, tell me what you've done. She said, this is what I've been doing most of my life, which had been dancing.

You could tell.

I mean, she could take her leg and lift it above her head straight up like this.

It's unbelievable.

Well, trust me, they used that everywhere she went.

She told me she was a violinist, played for symphonies,

told me she was on Broadway, played for Philharmonic, and then one day I said really you did this

And I'm thinking you know you're nuts the next thing that happened she started bringing pictures in and that just flat blew me away because that was her.

Music In 1988, John Robertson met a waitress called Helen at a Los Angeles diner, and they started a relationship.

After a while, she told him that once upon a time, she'd been a famous dancer, violinist and movie star.

Of course he didn't believe her, but then she brought photos in to show him.

They showed her with Liberace, Sammy Davis Jr., Debbie Reynolds, and many more.

They showed her in Las Vegas, on Broadway and in the movies.

Now John couldn't believe that this waitress had had such a glittering show business career,
