guest for today's show. His name is Brian Regal. He comes to us from New Jersey and has written

a really interesting book. I really enjoyed reading it. It's really about Americana and kind of

paranormal things, but really about American history from the past to the present.

Title of the book is The Secret History of the Jersey Devil,

how Quakers, Hucksters, and Benjamin Franklin created a monster.

And Mr. Regal wrote it with another author.

His name is Frank J. Espicito.

It was published in 2018.

And Brian Regal, Dr. Regal, teaches at Kane University in New Jersey,

so he definitely has an imprint there on that state. This is not his first book. He's written a book titled Human Evolution. Also, Henry Fairfield Osborne, race in the search for the origins of man.

Another is human evolution, a guide to the debates, as well as searching for Sasquatch,

crackpots, eggheads, and crypto zoology.

That looks really interesting too.

He also has had some career highlights.

One is a two-year fellowship at the Mary Big Year, Baker Eddy Papers Project from

1999 to 2001. But again, we're going to talk about this book. The title again is the secret
