In terms of Armenia and Armenians, they are basically our Christian ancestors, correct?

I mean, this is where it started.

Yes. Yes. So when Noah's Ark landed in Mount Ararat.

Mount Ararat is in ancient Armenia.

So we always kind of joke around that everybody's Armenian because, you know,

mankind came from, you know, Noah's three sun.

There has been this starvation of these 120,000 people for the last 10 months in front of everybody's eyes with zero media attention.

It is unbelievable to my eyes as a human, as a lover of history, as a Christian, as an Armenian.

I cannot believe what is happening now that this ancient homeland of Armenians has been taken away.

project. And that is really interesting when it comes to what we're seeing, not being reported

in Armenia right now. It's a really scary situation and something we don't know enough about.

So I had to bring on an expert. Simone, welcome to the program. Thank you, Tom. It's great to be

here with you. You know, I have the privilege of being an Armenian and the privilege of being

an Armenian Catholic. And there isn't an Armenian alive today that doesn't have a story of persecution,

whether that's the Armenian genocide of the 20th century,

which is the first genocide of the 20th century.

In fact, the word genocide was coined by a Polish jurist named Raphael Lemkin

because of his observations of what happened to the Armenians. So this happened during World War I,

1.5 Armenians, and it was an aggression of the Ottoman now Turks against the Armenians.

So that's the history from the last century.
