The So, So Paul, let's get to that last bit first, shall we? We launched a patron crowdfunding campaign, a way that people

could show support for the show through cold hard currency. We've never actually, we've taken donations through

PayPal for a couple of years now, never had any adverts or never commercialized

the podcast, thought it would be a nice way for people to say thanks, show they

appreciate the show. the response has been

incredible yeah I mean we were trying to make it so that if people did because we've

had this tip jar but you apart from like an email saying thank you

You've never really got much out of donating to the show

We set up a system whereby people get some pretty cool rewards. We're going to do some

bonus content and we've got some goodies lined up but I mean I think it's fair to say we're both absolutely stunned by the response

we we launched a podcast we launched the patron at midnight on the 1st of August and as we record it's the 2nd of August 9 p.m.

so I mean when I say midnight I mean 12.01 at the beginning of the 1st of August and

we've already hit one of our loftier goals which

were unable us to get some guests on the show.

I promised that I would shout out anyone that donated while we were recording the show and like I'm kind of a bit overwhelmed by how many people that is now so I've got to say a massive thank you to Peter de Cock, Alan Glenn, Don Miller, Vishart Marishi, Paco Pineda, all signed up to the mug tier during the show.
