Summary

In today’s episode, I sit down with Dr. Jeremy James, founder of GolfForever, to talk about how his work helping professional athletes and chronic pain sufferers evolved into a revolutionary golf training program. We explore the connection between biomechanics, longevity, and performance, and how GolfForever pairs movement education with a swing trainer to keep players strong, healthy, and improving at any age. Dr. James shares how partnerships with PGA stars like Scottie Scheffler and Justin Leonard helped scale his vision and why the program’s benefits extend far beyond golf. From back pain relief to added distance off the tee, the results speak for themselves.

Welcome to Entrepreneurs the Playbook, Dr. Jeremy James. Thank you so much, David. Really happy to be

0:36.8

willing and able. You know, there's so many parallels between golf and life and, you know,

0:50.4

we'd love to live forever and at least we'd love to live healthy and happy for as long

0:57.4

as we could. And, you know, starting out, golf forever wasn't golf forever. It was actually

1:03.6

back forever. And how was the evolution of back forever aligned with golfing forever?

1:12.8

It's a great question.

And if you don't mind, David, I'll take you back one step further,

1:17.1

tell you how this whole thing started.

1:18.5

So I directed a clinic in Aspen, Colorado for over a decade.

1:23.5

And we were essentially the clinic of last resort for people struggling with chronic back pain.

1:29.0

And back when we were doing this a long time ago, we were one of only a handful of clinics in the

1:34.8

country that were taking the approach that we took to address chronic pain. And that was

1:39.9

essentially behavioral change. People would come out to my clinic and stay anywhere from a few weeks

1:45.8

to a few months with us. And we would look at all aspects of their life and their behavior and how

1:51.5

that contributed to this pain that they couldn't overcome. And these people had usually tried everything,

1:56.0

drug, surgery, you name it. We looked at how they moved, how they lived, how they carried themselves,
