And let me take you to Luke the 17th chapter. There's an amazing account there when Jesus

heals 10 men suffering from leprosy. It's a severe skin disease different than what we know is

leprosy today, but a severe skin disease and one that would cause people to live in isolation.

So it says in Luke 17, now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee. As he was going

into a village, 10 men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance and called out in a loud voice,

Jesus, master, have pity on us. It was remarkable when in other accounts like

Mark I, for example, Jesus touches the leper and heals them. They're unclean. You don't touch them.
