It was on this date in 1968 that George Harrison released a soundtrack album called Wonder Wall

music.

You probably never heard of it or heard the album before,

but he became the first member of the Beatles

to ever release a solo album, 55 years ago today.

And tomorrow, the official final recording by the Beatles featuring never before heard guitar playing by George Harrison

will be released. It's called now and then. It's from John Lennon's old 1977 piano demo that Yoko gave to Paul.
