Hey everyone, welcome to The Rough Corner.

This is the bonus episode that sits in between the main We Can Be Weirdo's Epps where I, Dan Schreiber, usually I'm sitting down with my producer, Spooky Al, as we go through all the weirdnesses of our last seven days, as well as taking in some correspondence from you, the listener.

But more often than not, I find myself in some weird location and speaking to someone

across the planet about the weird lives that they're leading. And that's what's happening today.

I am coming to you from a hotel in Turkey, where I'm going to be for the next two weeks.

It's a hotel where we haven't left it yet, so there's no ghosts, uh,

apparently in this hotel. There is nothing spooky going on. Uh, there's just a lot of alcohol

being consumed because it's one of those places where the booze is free. So I'm literally

having eight a.m. cocktails. There is one spooky thing which I'm going to try and get to the

bottom of, which is the hotel next to us. There's a whole water slide thing that's happening on

our side of the hotel, literally right next door is what looks like an abandoned hotel with a very,

very rundown water slide. And I want to get the story behind it because I swear this is true.

And maybe this is not shocking to anyone else.

But it's a loop the loop water slide.

And the loop is not closed.

It's just an open loop.

And I cannot imagine any scenario where anyone on a rubber ring is going, lob me down, the loop, the loop, water slide.

So I'm going to try and find out why that hotel is absolutely smashed and this rundown water slide exists.

My theory is that the whole thing was shut down because multiple people died quite quickly

on a mad as shit loop the loop.

So maybe that will be my weirdness that I can report from here.
