Following on from an opening night win over Monaco, the Reds fell to defeat away at Olimpiacos.

Deportivo Lacharunya would be the Reds third opponents heading to Anfield on Tuesday the 19th of October.

Liverpool in the run to Istanbul and that was Chris Kirkland Chris how are you?

Good afternoon chaps you okay I'm very good thank you.

Yeah not so bad. Thanks for joining us Chris and looking at the game as I said before

it was your first involvement in the group stage proper, as it were, for Liverpool that season.

What were your feelings going into the game?

Just excited to be playing obviously.

As you said, one of my first games to you know I think it was it Tuesday night

under the lights at Anfield it was you know I was I just couldn't wait for the game to

come around you know always wanted to playing Champions League games at Anfield. We know the you know even more so now the history of them games after what's happened the last few years with games but even back then just to playing them games was incredible experience and one little live movie forever.
