He recently created The Road to Independence Documentary as a part of a series on America's Christian founding.

Welcome to the show, Jerry. Tell us about how all this started.

Well, Providence Forum is now a division of D. James Kennedy Ministries.

And basically, I've been working on a series of films called the Foundation of American

Liberty. And if anybody asked me, well, what is the foundation of American liberty?

The answer is our Judeo-Christian heritage. Often the importance of the Bible in terms of the

push for independence is left out of the discussion.

And so this whole series of films deals with the Pilgrims and the Puritans and George Washington and several of the other founding fathers, the push for independence,

and biblical principles that are imbued in the Constitution and also in the Declaration founding fathers, the push for independence, and biblical principles that are imbued in the

Constitution, and also in the Declaration of Independence, which came before it.

Right. And we know Washington is a hero. We're going to take a real quick look at a clip of

this Foundation's episode that features Washington and how important he is to our heritage.

Let's take a look.

When we look at George Washington, we're clearly looking at the great icon of our country

of the United States.
