The day after the World Championship Road Race stuff has come to an end in Imola and

I have run out of things to take my attention away from my imminent operation on a broken

arm which has been postponed today and I don't know when it's going to happen but I

am.

I have a bag that should be packed and in my hallway ready to go but the fact that I'm

not under a knife or on a table at the moment gives me an opportunity at least just to reflect

and you listen a little bit on what we saw in particular yesterday in the men's road

race championships.

There were great championships.
