Hi everyone. Well, I have made it to episode 100 and I feel like I should say a few words.

0:06.2

If you just want to skip straight to the episode, just fast forward about three minutes.

0:11.2

Firstly, thank you so much for listening and for your support and messages and ratings and reviews

0:16.8

over the past few years. I never thought that I would make it this far and I certainly wouldn't

0:22.2

have if I hadn't had you tuning in for each episode. When I look back, I can't believe how far I've

0:27.9

come. This podcast was a creative project just for me. But with luck and timing on my side, it took off

0:34.4

and now, almost five years later, Canadian true crime episodes have been

1:19.2

highly introverted and pretty easily overstimulated, I've become quite reclusive because of the

1:25.7

attention, whether it be positive or negative. I'm

1:28.8

uncomfortable with it. And let's not even talk about depression and burnout and the general

1:34.3

disillusionment with this world that we've all experienced during the pandemic. So why am I

1:40.3

telling you all of this? Well, we're in a culture where we're supposed to project success.

1:45.6

And right now, we're getting some freedoms back that we lost during the pandemic and we're

1:50.1

supposed to act like everything is fine and normal. And you know, we're all settling in well to

1:54.7

this new world and society that we've found ourselves in. But I don't think anybody really is
