Scotland's longest river.

Hello, good morning. You can hear that roaring in the background.

I have to say this is absolutely magnificent, but at the falls of Dockert just outside Kalin. There's an old-fashioned

bridge here, goes across the river and the river breaks into upteen different sort of branches

and rivulets. The whole thing is about the colour of tea and there's foam everywhere. It just

drops over a succession of falls. There are big mature Scots Pines in here.

Essentially, this is quintessential Highland Scotland.

If you get a postcard from Scotland, this one will be on the list.

And it's special for me, because my mum and dad came here the first two nights,

I think, of the honeymoon when they got married many, many years ago.

We're in the hotel behind me.

And this has always been a special place. There's a wagtail, just braving the rapids there. It's just, look slightly out of place.

I mean, as you said, it's just a sea of foam, but it's loud.

We are at the start of a journey today.
