Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, wherever you are out there in the world.

It's time to step out onto the high wire.

Well, this week is Christmas and for those of you that are Christians out there, I want

to wish you a happy Christmas.

But of course, we are wishing happy holidays to all of you, no matter your race, religion

or creed.

As I was thinking about this moment today and talking to our staff, I was reflecting

on that famous story during World War I when the French and German soldiers decided to

have a cease and desist day where they got together and celebrated Christmas, stepped

across those lines that were dividing them that they'd been fighting on to recognize

each other as human beings.

I think that that is the best of who we are.

And as we sort of look at this world in turmoil, I think it's so important to recognize that

we are truly brothers and sisters on this earth together and we are sharing in this experience.

And so not one of us can lift up alone, but all of us together, I think, or what are

going to make the difference as we move forward and try to get ourselves out of this tyranny

being brought across the world by probably some invisible group of people, but those that

we see that are acting, bringing this upon us, we must do our part to step up now and

make that difference.

As we've been reporting, one of those nations that seems to be on the front lines right

now, truly, in battle with this issue of the pandemic is Austria.

And as we've been watching the headlines coming out of Austria, seeing the marches, I mean,
