He's a filmmaker, journalist.

He did one of my favorite documentaries, one that I recommend a lot called Ethos, with Woody

Harrelson host it or narrates it I don't know how

you want to put it but I definitely check it out it's on Netflix it's on it might be online I'm

sure it's on Hulu and a bunch of other places so definitely check it out we're going to talk

about some of the topics that that movie hits and and some of the issues that it talks about

from you know our problem with money and media and money and, you know,

war being profitable and all these other things and get into what motivate him to do this movie

and any other projects he has going on. So I just want to thank Pete for being with us today.

Hi, Ricky. How are you? Nice to be here.

Hey, thanks for taking your time to be with us. And so, yeah, how did you come up with the idea of ethos and the whole idea of trying to capture today's social issues and kind of the root of the issue?

Because you don't just talk about the issues, but you really get into the psychology of it and, you know, how media and corporations have learned how to use,

I'm not even sure the word I'm looking for, but basically like tricks to brainwash people

and really like affect not our choices just by saying, hey, here's some information, now make

a logical decision, but also how to affect our emotions and, I guess,

influence our decision making that way and all those things. So how did you come up with this?

Was this your first documentary or did you do others and then this just came about? Or what's the story, Pete?
