I'm super excited to get to 200 episodes, about five, six, seven years ago, whenever it was, I started this

podcast, I started this journey with my buddy Dave, who was just one of my best friends, and I

kind of talked them into doing this thing called podcasting, which he wasn't too familiar with.

And surprisingly at that time, a lot of people weren't too familiar with. Six years ago, a lot of people that I talked to really didn't know too much

about it. They knew the term. Some of them knew that they had an app on their iPhones and said

podcasts and knew they kind of existed. They would hear of certain podcasters and podcast shows,

but they didn't know too much about it. And I was obsessed with them. And people didn't really

understand why. And I think I was obsessed with them because it was a place where I could get

real discussions, alternative perspectives on topics I wasn't too familiar with or on topics I've never heard people look at from that perspective.

And it was just an alternative in general to the news, to mainstream media, to what was on TV, what was on the radio, what was in the

newspapers.

And it was a great way of me kind of just exercising my brain by listening to just interesting

discussions and hearing people debate and hearing people
