I'm A-R I'm A-Ron. And today we're talking season 2 episode 1.

We've already talked about, you know, all the reasons that we've decided to cover this again after a somewhat rocky

first season. Aaron I'm super curious to know I know Amazon has released three

episodes we've not seen them all yet. I kind of stuck to just watching this first episode for this

first podcast, so I didn't accidentally spoil anything. What do you think of this first one?

I was relieved to find that I really, really enjoyed this episode. I have almost zero problems with it and I'm starting to get used to some of the I look

clearly the showrunners have decided they don't care to cleave too closely to the exact lore of you know what what they're given you know and we talked about it last year how

even big details like the order of the forging of the rings and the

cannon the Elvis rings are forged last here they're for forged first but I'm going to give them the room to see if they can tell a good story around the changes they've made.

Because, you know, it's not like the lore is perfect.

There's a lot of things that are kind of

left unexplained or kind of like contradictory that you know maybe they're

trying to kind of clean up and and I don't think purists will ever consider

this canon I don't think anyone will consider anything

canon that J.R. Tolkien didn't write or his son didn't

then archive and clean up and choose to publish so fine well and good you know I like this I'm

starting to you know all the things I liked about last season I really like

El-Ron I like Keller Kellebrimbor, I'm starting to warm up to this Gladryl just being a very immature, you know, if she's not just, she's not the Gl glad rail we see in Lord of the Rings for sure.
