You founded the people for the ethical treatment of animals, which has done a lot to put the whole issue

of animal rights and animal welfare more broadly on the map, especially in the United States.

I think in a way the United States was a late adopter in this realm, right?

I mean, this had always been a bigger issue in Britain, where I gather you're from.

Is that, are those two things right? You're from there, and it was a bigger issue there earlier?
