The longest Psalm in the Bible is Psalm 119. It has been called the Psalm of the Scriptures because it concentrates on one thing, the amazing sufficiency of God's word for our lives.

The question is, how does that happen? Today, we come in our study of

Psalm 119 to the fourth section that begins with verse number 25. It is an amazing section. We'll

return to it in our next study and walk through the entirety of it, but I want to draw your attention to one verse, the first verse in the section, and in fact, to one word in the first verse that I believe teaches us the reviving power of God's word.

Psalm 119, verse 25, says this,

My soul cleaveth under the dust.

1:35.8

Quicken thou me, according to thy word.

And here's the word.

It's the word quicken.

We don't use that word much anymore, but we understand the word quick.

To move along, to be carried on, not lethargic, not weak and anemic, advancing.

That's what revival brings. It brings a freshness, a fullness, an awakening.

Oh, do you long for that, for your own life, for your family, for your church,
