Nick Turchin. As usual on the Big Boo

0:55.6

Bander podcast, we try to aim to break down the all 22 coaches film, mix that with analytics and a

1:01.3

little bit of the eye test. Today we're going to be breaking down the Giants defensive front

1:05.2

and that means the edge guys, the outside linebackers the defensive line, interior guys,

1:11.6

but at the same time we're going to actually take a deeper dive into the giant, the outside linebackers the defensive line, interior guys. But at the same time,

1:16.5

So I want to take a step back, assume that not everyone understands this scheme as well as maybe, you know, James Vatcher himself does. And on that note, we're going to break the show into two parts today.

2:02.7

First, we're going to dive into some of the schematics before eventually breaking down the players and how they can fit into this scheme.

2:07.3

So I wanted to start it by walking it back with kind of a brief general question.

2:11.3

And Nick, I wanted to get your opinion of just the overall objective of James Batcher's defense scheme.

2:17.6

I think it's a, it's, it's an aggressive amoeba or positionless type defense, not totally

2:25.0

positionless.
