I'm honored to have with us the author of the new book, the resurrected Jesus David Limbaugh joins us this hour. David, welcome to the Charlie Kirk show.

Thanks for having me Charlie. How are you?

I'm excellent. Thank you. And I'm really looking forward to talking about this book with you. I have so many questions. But first, what's this new book about and we'll dive into it and why did you write it and we'll go from there.

Okay, this is my fifth Christian themed book. The last one was Jesus's risen and it covered the book of Acts and six of the Apostle Paul's Epistles.

This book covers the remaining seven of his Epistles, the prison Epistles and the pastoral Epistles. He wrote the prison Epistles when he was in prisoned house arrest in Rome and the past

that he also wrote to his colleagues and fellow evangelists Timothy and Titus. But the purpose of this book as the last one is to draw people, people closer to the Bible to reach people who are either unsurched or skeptics or who are beginning Christians who can profit from someone who is not a

Christian or a trained biblical scholar, but someone who experienced skepticism and hopefully can relate to them in a way of pastor, a theologian can't. So we go through the chapters and verses of all these books.

Literally, I mean, we literally I'm using literally correctly go through every chapter and every verse of these seven books of the Bible and either paraphrase the verses or

use them directly, verbatim. And then we interspersed commentary our own insights and this book is different because my daughter, Christian, added primarily wrote some prayers throughout the book to make it an interactive experience with readers.

We hope will lead them to coming closer to God and closer to the Bible.

So what books in particular, then, are you focusing on? You say it says here that you explore the divinely inspired wonders of Paul's last letters, which books just for our audience and my own sake as well are the last letters.

And then I try to do this in chronological order as opposed to canonical order where they fear in the Bible, although it's pretty close, collotions, filaments, Ephesians, Philippians, first Timothy, Titus and second Timothy.

Those are the books. Those are the epistles.

What do you think is profound or obviously it's all profound, but what is what is important to focus on about those letters in particular? So Timothy, obviously he's counseling a younger, you know, very enthusiastic kind of he's mentoring, you could say.

And I mean, you obviously mentioned the same with Titus. What about those books? Do you think that you heart you zero in on in your book that is so important to take away about them?

Well, it's interesting to me that there's a lot of different things. And the reason I picked these seven books is because I want to go through the entire new testament. So these are just the next ones. I don't consider them any more or less profound in the other.
