Hey everyone and welcome back to the rest day with Jack Hegg. In this episode I sit down with

Carlos Rodriguez from team Minios. We were both in Tenner Reef for an altitude camp and on the last day I took the opportunity to sit down with him and have a bit of a conversation about how the camp had gone, how last season's tour to France results happened.

He actually had quite a lot of injuries and setbacks in the preparation process

that I didn't really know that much about.

We also talk a little bit about his university degrees that he did, how he got into

cycling and in general how the training camp had gone and looking forward to this year's tour to France. I kind of know Carlos

had spoken to him a few times during races and I see him every now and then during

training here in Andorra but I never really got to know him very well at all and maybe I'm a little bit nervous during this podcast just speaking to someone that I don't know so well I find a little bit difficult and hopefully over time it can slowly improve but I think the conversation was quite interesting and I hope

you guys get something out of it and like always if you'd like to listen to something or hear

anything specific let me know and I'll try and add them into the next

podcasts. The next one will probably be done during Criterion Dauphiney. It's my next race. Maybe I can have a chat with

When do you arrive?

I arrive. First first hello to everyone I arrive here the eight so

so two days before us in total 18 days. Yeah there would be 18 and you're leaving

tomorrow as well. So I actually you have a physio working your team that used to work in Bahrain and I've been chatting with him and

we'd cross past quite a few times but we've never actually spoken properly other than

in the race or I see you now a little bit in Andorra.
