Look, this week we're just gonna jump right into it.

Our Kelly was convicted of several charges this week

in connection with more than two decades

of an enterprise devoted to furnishing young women

for sexual purposes.

You know, we've talked about our Kelly

and we've talked about the case previously on Popcast,

but I wanna be really honest and say that

the verdict hit me really, really hard,

following along over the last few weeks,

reading about the testimony, reading about

his relationship with Alia,

has been just intensely challenging.

I wanna talk about it on this episode.

You'll forgive me if I sound emotional.

Also, you know, I'm recording this intro

after speaking to the folks who we're talked to

and I do wanna say, and very rarely would I say this

on Popcast, but I want you guys to be mindful.
