podcast. Today we are going to be, well we're going to be talking a little

truth here about what it's really like being a new

Etsy seller with less than a hundred sales. That is something that I know is, well, it's an obstacle that a lot of people face.

And there's, well, there's been some also people out there saying like,

maybe you should just start a brand new

Etsy shock. We'll talk about that a little bit later, but

what I wanted to do here is I wanted to jump on and I wanted to go through the reality and kind of give a check here and say hey

where are you right now and where are you struggling and then give you some real expectations but then also give you some things that you can do to get over that hurdle.

Because I know a lot of people struggle here.

But this is going to be the truth.

This is going to be you know no fluff. I'm not going to sit here and tell you things just to get you

excited about selling on Etsy because yes it's a great platform but there there are you know there are

some things we need to be aware of and we need to have the right expectations

so that's what we're going to be doing here I'm going to go through some different

things here that I want to address and I think every new

Etsy seller that is a hundred sales or less or if maybe you got your hundred sales but then you

kind of stalled and you're thinking yourself what is

going on we're going to talk about that as well so Chris I know we have a lot to

cover here today we've got a jam-packed show here is there anything that I left out there to tee up this topic of the reality of, well, a new ETSE seller?

I think the biggest thing, Scott, is that people seem to fall into one of two camps right either the sky is falling and there's no reason to ever sell on Enzi ever again

You know there's no traffic. There's no sale, nobody's doing anything, that's a lie, or

...
