who's talking to me live from Las Vegas, Nevada, where he's at CES, the sprawling tech

conference covering all things chips, tech, and much more.

Diego, thanks so much for joining me. How's Vegas?

Thanks for having me, Max. It's great. The weather here, I think, is much better than out there.

So that's been good.

Yeah, that's for sure. And I think you're at like the heart of the tech world at the moment.

So no better place for our fearless tech reporter to be.

I'll start off by asking you about Jensen Wong, who made some pretty interesting news at CES this week,

which you reported on for Punch Bowl News, about the bill by Brian Mast, which

seeks to restrict what kind of chips the United States can sell to China. Talk to me about what

the NVIDIA CEO told attendees of it. So, Huang was the one who really kind of opened CS on Monday.

He had a big keynote speech Monday afternoon here, which is later, late afternoon, there in the East Coast.

And he unveiled a series of new product, a new autonomous vehicle with Mercedes.

He unveiled their new GPU, their new chip, AI chip, which is called the Rubin and made a series

of product announcements. And on Tuesday, he gave a press conference with

a ton of reporters. I mean, on the hill, we're not used to these kind of huge press conferences.

The press conferences, you know, with the leader, with Schumer or or Thune, they're

much smaller, makes the Ohio clock press conferences look like a little kid compared to it.

It was a, it was a massive press conference.

And I got lucky that was called on and was able to ask a question.
