Hello super great kids and how are you?

If you're in the US you are probably enjoying Independence Day celebrations,

visiting family or friends and maybe even having a picnic or a party.

Arra! In the UK... even having a picnic or a party. Hurrah!

In the UK, we're choosing who should lead our country this week.

It's not a holiday, so not as much fun, but it is an important day.

The story this week is the last of our birds stories.

It's about a rather special bird called a rainbird

which has rainbow-colored wings. It's from southern Africa, but it's also a popular story

among Native Americans from the Pacific Northwest of North America. There's a moment in this story which is a little bit sad, but it does have a happy ending.

The tale is told by Maya Ganatra, who told you the hairy tone. The She's very lucky because her family are from India and she's lived in Africa

so she gets all the benefits of not one but two cultures.

Just before we hear about the rainbird, I have a question for you.
