Thank you. The second president of the United States, John Adams, shortly after the founding of our

republic and the adoption of our Constitution, of course, made a statement.

He said our Constitution was made only

for a moral and religious people that is wholly inadequate to the government of any other. Now,

he was observing there, even if only in a civil sense, that religion and morality are conducive

to good government, the constitution being the form of that

good government. But there are those who say, well, it really needs to be a Christian nation.

Maybe our nation once was Christian, or maybe it never has been, but it needs to be in a bigger,

broader and greater sense than Adams intended.

Joining us to talk about the racism, the misogyny, and the anti-Semitism of several proponents

of Christian nationalism, Dr. Neil Schemvee, he's a homeschooling theoretical chemist.

He has a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Princeton and a PhD in theoretical chemistry

from the University of California, Berkeley.

He's author of the forthcoming book Post-Woke, asserting a biblical vision of race, gender,

and sexuality, and a recent column titled The Rise and Fall of Christian Nationalism.
