We've been thinking a lot about signs and wonders at Bethlehem in these recent days.

I don't know how many of you are aware of all the attention being given to miracles and and

and signs and wonders and spiritual warfare of all kinds

today.

It's quite the end thing to talk about and a lot is happening around the world.

What does the death of Jesus Christ and the way he responded to the taunts of his accusers have to teach us about signs and

wonders. There were a couple of verses I want to highlight.

otherwise you can just listen.

I'm going to read verses 29 to 31.

Those who passed by derided him wagging their heads and saying, aha, you who would destroy the

temple and build it in three days, save yourself, come down from the cross.

And so also the chief priest mocked him

to one another, the scribes saying,

he saved others, he cannot save himself.

Let the Christ, the King of Israel, come down now

from the cross that we may see and believe.

Give us another sign.

Come on, we want a sign.

Jerk those hands off, jump off that cross.

Give us a sign.

And we will believe when we see that sign, you think that's true? Do you think they would have believed
