I know my faith is founded on Jesus Christ, my God and Lord,

and this my faith confessing,

unmoved I stand on his sure word,

Man's reason cannot fathom the truth of God profound, who trust in subtle wisdom relies on shifting ground. God's word is all sufficient, it makes divinely sure. And trusting in its wisdom, my faith shall rest secure.

The hymn I know my faith is founded.

The writer to the Hebrews talks about the promises of God.

Whatever the promises of God they are.

They are yes and amen in Jesus Christ.

Does that apply to all the promises, even the Old Testament promises as well?
