Summary

In 2017, popular college professor Matthew Lange is rebuilding a life for himself and his son after a contentious divorce and custody battle. 1:13.0	It's the evening of Friday, January 27th, 2017, when police are notified about an emergency
1:30.0	in the parking lot of the Skullin Middle School, located in Naperville, Illinois.
1:36.0	The 911 call came into the Naperville Police Dispatch Center shortly after 7pm.
1:42.0	It was initially reported as a possible traffic accident with injuries.
1:47.0	Sergeant Aaron Gibbler is with the Naperville Police Department.
1:51.0	She was on call that evening and one of the first to arrive to the scene.
1:55.0	The subjects who contacted 911, they had seen Matthew's vehicle parked on the south side of the school
2:03.0	with Matthew still seated in the vehicle.
2:06.0	They approached the vehicle and attempted to speak to Matthew and when they realized that he was injured,
2:12.0	they went back into the school and contacted 911.
2:18.0	Upon arrival of the first officers on scene, it was apparent that this was not a traffic crash.
2:24.0	Matthew was still seated in the car when we arrived and suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
2:32.0	He was then removed from the car by medical personnel and transported to Edward Hospital.
