background and who you are. I'm Jim Fuller. I had a vast love for the AKs back in the

back in the back in the 80s when I first started discovering them over the years the years, I finally got to the point

where I could build and work on them

because nobody else would back in those days.

So, and then we started seeing Parts Kids roll in.

I thought, you know what, maybe we should try to build these things and so I did and the first few I built didn't work out well but I you know

continued to move on and try to do better and we managed to get to the point where we could produce a pretty good gun.

And in those days nobody was doing it that much, you know, so I looked around and it really wasn't much of a, you know, because in, you know, in 89 when Daddy Bush signed the assault weapons man, we lost the AKA, it was almost non-existent in this country except for a few oddball imports, Mitchell Arms and all that stuff.

But it really wasn't that popular.
