I want you turning your Bibles to Exodus chapter 20 and we're in a series called

Relationships through God's top 10 and we're on the fourth commandment this week

we've already done the previous three.

By the way, for Easter next weekend, we always bring in special music.

I'm pretty excited because next weekend, we have Grammy Award winners, both of them, Larnell Harris and Sandy Patty.

So they'll be with us all weekend next weekend.

So all right, so we're in this series talking about God's top 10 lists, the 10

Commandments, but I want to remind you that I think there's a principle behind

each commandment that will enhance our relationship with God and others.

So this week I believe it's the principle of rest and we're talking about the

the fourth commandment. So Exodus chapter 20, by the way this is the longest

commandment. He spends more time, more words on this commandment than any other

commandment. Exodus 20 verse 8. on this

commandment than any other commandment.

Exist 20 verse 8, remember the Sabbath day

to keep it holy or to keep it set apart,

to keep it separate from the other six days. Six days you shall labor and do all your

emails. Just bringing up to modern day language here.

All your work, notice the word all.

But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord, your God.

In it you shall do no work.

You, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your son nor your daughter nor your male servant nor your female servant nor
