Welcome to the next picture show, a movie of the week podcast devoted to a classic film

and how it shaped our thoughts on a recent release. I'm Scott Tobias here with Genevieve Kosky. Keith Phipps. And Tasha Robinson.

With American movie theaters largely closed, we're continuing to focus on quarantine,

pairing films you can find on VOD, cable television, or streaming services. This week,

we're putting on our masks, heading up a dusty

mountain pass, and searching for gold. We're going prospecting. You know, that actually sounds like

a pretty good idea. We've been cooped up at home for months, and none of us have seen each other

in person since late February. As long as we take the proper precautions and maintain social

distancing, I think spending some time outdoors would be healthy and fun. Yeah, I'm in the mode of thinking that Scott's never right about anything, but in this case I'm really ready for an adventure. Besides, I've spent so much time in quarantine, perfected my prospect in jigs. And the best part is, we trust each other. We've worked closely together for years. It's like we're second family.

So when it comes time to fence the gold and split the loot, none of us will be seized by greed,

paranoia, or madness. Each of us gets one quarter fair and square. Wait, wait, I'm writing the script for this bit, plus the keynote, plus the introduction of next week's show. All you three had to do
