Hey everybody welcome back to cold case murder mysteries. I'm your host

Ryan Kraus coming at you once again to break down the psychology behind one of the more mysterious and brutal

unsolved cases in recent true crime lore, the murder of Lindsay Busyak.

On February 2, 2008 in Sanich, British Columbia, Canada, a wealthy suburb of Victoria,

the 24-year-old real estate agent was viciously stabbed to death while showing a million-dollar

home to an affluent couple whose identity remains unknown to this day.

But while this case is cold, devoid of that missing link that will finally solve it,

the evidence offered with that notion

suggests something entirely different. In the grand tradition of the police

intentionally avoiding the investigation, arrest, and incarceration of influential people the McCann or Jambine Ramsey, the same goes here. Authorities have offered a narrative conducive

to a lack of proof. Yet they possess nothing less than a total abundance of circumstantial

evidence that suggests the names of the players involved

aren't so secret after all.

So the question becomes, what are they hiding and why? Those answers at least in their purest most

explicit form will remain unknown but in terms of the psychology at play and

the actions of those deemed suspicious, we really have a bunch of kids getting caught with their hands in the cookie jar.

So for me, the interesting aspect of this case is determining the disparity between actions and words.

I want to examine what the witnesses told police regarding their actions in comparison to how a human being would truly behave.

What we learn here, right from the start, is that a tsunami of lies floods the beach of truth

submerging it in a mass conspiracy where everything is hidden beneath the surface. Of course, we aren't privileged

to that world, so we need to point a flashlight into the darkness of the psychology and watch

the shadows emerge. Those shadows are the conspirators in this crime.
