Summary
On the very first episode of Benched with Bonnetta, Rachel Bonnetta recaps a wild weekend of playoff football after all four divisional games went down to the wire. First, Rachel gives kickers the love and appreciation they deserve, sharing an original song she wrote on their behalf. Then, we discuss the NFL overtime rules and the importance of winning the coin toss. Are there other ways to decide who should get the ball first? After that, Rachel welcomes you into her Safe Space by sharing anonymous DMs from listeners confessing their craziest truths and hottest takes. Then, Rachel is joined by Rachna Fruchbom, TV writer and co-executive producer of the Sex and the City reboot And Just Like That, to compare the four remaining quarterbacks to Sex and the City characters. Later, Rachel picks winners for the NFL Conference Championship games and also suggests some rule changes for the MVP award. Finally, we close the show with the best things we heard this week.
