0:29.6	On today's edition, I'd like to discuss something that is on the minds of millions of Christians worldwide. And that involves the firm belief in the imminent rapture of multiplied millions of Christians, simply called the rapture. And what they presume is that suddenly in the wink of an eye,
0:58.5	planes are going to be without pilots.
1:03.3	Cars are going to be without drivers.
1:06.8	Wives without husbands and husbands without wives.
1:10.5	Hospitals missing doctors, patients without nurses,
1:14.3	and on and on it goes. And all of this, it is said by some of the most popular preachers on the
1:21.8	planet is the very next thing, the very next event on the prophetic calendar.
1:28.5	The pre-tribulational rapture theory,
1:32.7	popularized by John Nelson Derby in the 19th century,
1:38.9	contends that God has two distinct people,
1:51.0	that God has two distinct people, that God has two distinct plans for their two distinct destinies.
1:59.4	The church is going to be raptured seven years prior to the second coming of Christ,
2:05.3	and then the Jews are going to suffer tribulation.
2:07.6	Why?
2:27.3	Well, because beginning with Darby, rapture advocates have been holding that due to the murder of Jesus Christ, Jews are in for a time of unprecedented suffering. They're in for a great tribulation.
2:31.3	What many rapture promoters describe as the coming Jewish Holocaust or as Antichrist's final solution
2:40.7	to the Jewish problem.
2:44.1	The mind-boggling terror and turmoil of the tribulation is believed to be a nightmarish reality far exceeding even
2:55.0	that of the Holocaust of Adolf Hitler in the 20th century. And then concurrent with this
3:03.2	unprecedented carnage is going to be what's called a soul harvest, which is going to emerge
3:11.5	due to the proselytizing prowess of 144,000 Jewish virgins.
