We're going to be discussing a topic that comes up quite often.

It's one topic that Chuck Mister, the late Chuck Mister said,

was the most preposterous doctrine in the history of the church.

Now, the, I remember hearing this years ago.

I've been, you know, when I was young, I started listening to Missler almost like I think I was 20.

And I'm glad. I'm glad to hear that and to hear all of his

teachings and stuff. But he did talk about the rapture. And he called it the most preposterous

doctrine ever. Obviously, he was a believer in the preacher of rapture. But let's just for a moment

here, you know, maybe you're watching this and you're like,

what have I stumbled upon? What in the world is the rapture? Who are these crazy Christian people?

You know, what is the rapture? Let's just give a definition. What is the rapture?

The rapture is an event that occurs when God wants to take his people out of the earth

at a certain time when we believe right before the tribulation period

so that things can finish out, the prophecies can finish out the way he planned them.

So here we are, we have something kind of strange,

where God reaches down out of heaven and basically snatches, that's kind of what the word means,

snatches all of his people, removes them off of the earth, and the rest are left, kind of in
