Now, if you're not familiar with Johnny's remarkable story, she became a quadriplegic after a diving accident in 1967.

She was only 17 years of age at the time. Since then, she's become a beloved Christian author and an internationally renowned advocate for people with disabilities.

She's also a great artist and a remarkable singer.

In addition, she's the founder of Johnny and Friends,

the ministry that has been serving people living with disability for over 45 years.

Johnny Erickson Tata is the author of dozens of books over the years.

The book we're going to be talking about today is called

The Practice of the Presence of Jesus.

It's a devotional based on the timeless wisdom from 17th century monk brother Lawrence.
