Each week we will talk about anything from parenting, marriage, lifestyle,

and what it looks like to follow Jesus in our time.

Intentional is made up of Philin- and Diane Comer and Brooke and Elizabeth Moser. I am Brooke and the

funny thing is we are all family. Elizabeth is Phil and Diane's daughter so we're a

family figuring this thing out together.

Elizabeth and I are your host, let's get into this week's projects.

One question that I know that I get a lot but also something I'm constantly thinking about is how do I stay close to my wife when it feels like every single one of our kids is an opposing force to that ideal.

And they don't mean to, but if you're listening, I think you can understand if you're married and you have kids, small kids, even if that's one or five or anything in between, you can understand what we're talking about.

There's this tension where all of a sudden you have kids, they're on the scene, and now your spouse isn't the person that you have all the attention for anymore. Your time's divided and then you have another one. It's divided more and divided more. And today what we want to do is really talk about how can we

have an intentional marriage through this idea of the scriptures, what the scriptures say about having a healthy marriage and really to learn even today from you Phil and Diane of how you have in this process of raising passion of Jesus followers also not lost sight of each other.

And this is a question we got from a lot of you in the Q&A and we decided to actually do an

episode on it because we think it's that foundational and important.

So it's going to be a fun episode today.

Yeah, well, number one, it's very, very important you know we like to say after leading

your kids to Jesus and because you want to be with them for all eternity,

the next best gift you can ever give your kids

is the gift of a good marriage.
