0:39.0	President Reese and I are so excited to be with all of you today. We love seeing so many of you on
0:45.6	campus and are looking forward to this new semester. We want to extend a special
0:51.4	welcome to you freshmen who are joining us for the first time.
0:56.4	We hope you have amazing experiences during your time at BYU.
1:01.3	We want each of you to be successful in your studies as well as develop a stronger relationship with and
1:08.3	testimony of Jesus Christ. There are many challenges and tough decisions associated with the beginning of a new semester. You may be feeling a whole range of emotions about all that you are facing. You might be nervous about your class of You may be anxious about getting to know new roommates
1:33.0	and negotiating who gets the best cupboard and shelf
1:36.4	in the fridge.
1:38.5	Maybe you are scared of receiving a new ward
1:41.5	calling that seems made up like ward participant.
1:47.0	Perhaps you are trying to figure out how long to wait before getting married after a mission.
1:57.0	Is one month too long?
2:01.0	And last but not least, I am sure most of you are it can be difficult to know how to approach this new semester with a positive attitude.
2:30.0	But what if I told you that positive thinking might be part of the solution to dealing
2:36.2	with the many stresses and challenges inherent in a new semester?
