Before I start this morning, I have a special message for the men only.

And if you listen to this, it's going to save you a lot of trouble in your life.

When you get married, there's three things you're going to have a lot of.

You're going to have a lot of conversation, a lot of ideas being passed back and forth and you're going to have a lot of opinions.

And where there's opinions, if they differ, only one person can be right.

And I just want to tell you, the other one is called the husband. It took you a minute, didn't it?

Well, you are brave to come back and do this again today.

I'm teaching a three-part series here, each message being different on pride and humility.

And I think to be honest that pride and the sin that pride is is something that we probably don't think about

as often as we should.

And yet the Bible says that God actually hates pride, that he

hates it. Doesn't just dislike it. He hates it. And pride is when we lift ourselves up.

And the Bible says in several different places,

if you exalt yourself, you will be humbled.

Now think about that. you will be humbled.
