Today I have a special guest, my dear friend Tom Nearing. Tom and I met a week after I got saved in 2009 at my church. He used to go to my church. He and his family live in

San Luis Obispo area, but Tom

the second, the second week I was at church,

the weekend after I got saved,

I was at the service, Bible and so I went to the book table and so I went to the book table and there were you know a lot of books and Bible and I said oh could I get one of these Bibles it was

this Bible and it's an ESV translation and And at that time, this was 2009 and they didn't have like a swipe thing. It was cash only. Remember that? Remember what cash was? Anyway, so I didn't have cash on me and I was like, oh, I don't have cash, I'm sorry, and it was five dollars.

And immediately, when I said, I don't have cash, this guy, his arm comes under me and hands a $5 bill to the woman at the table.

And I was like, what?

And it was my friend Tom Nearing.

And so Tom Nearing bought me my first Bible.

I don't use it anymore because, as can see the print is so tiny I can't see it anymore so

because it's 15 years later

So now I have a larger print Bible and but anyway Tom is going to tell us I want to talk to Tom about
