What is it today? The definition of queer. It's time to just narrow in. It's covered, for

an example, in the querying of the American child. I've said it in umpteen podcasts of longer form.

It's time to just narrow in and read to you the paragraph where queer in queer theory was defined.

You need to know this definition, you need to hear all the parts of it, we're going to break it down,

the language is complicated of course because it's woke bullshit. the one of the early foundational queer theorists. The book is called St. Foucault toward a gay

hagiography. In other words, the goal is to take the postmodern pedophile, Michelle

Foucault, BDS M.S. M. Gay, etc. who wrote history of sexuality, madness and

civilization, birth at the clinic, discipline and punish, those are the kind of

relevant works here, to take him and canonize

him as a saint of queer theory.

In other words, to say that he's kind of, you know, the saint-like figure who is really the founder of the

concepts of queer theory.

That's the point of this book, which was written in 1995.

And on page 62 of this book, at least a copy that I have, Halperin defines queer very clearly.

There's another part in the book where he explains that everything that he means by queer is what

Foucault, for those of you who are familiar with Foucault's writings,

this means by quote the homosexual.

The goal is to become homosexual.

Well, Halprin says, you can't do that, obviously.

You either are or you aren't.

So it must mean a political stance with regard to being homosexual.
