lucky, I suppose, to be able to have a chat with him on the tail end of being so deeply moved by what turns out to be his first book, The Planets Within, and we talk a lot about that book

and also Marcilio Ficino in this conversation amongst other ideas, but it circulates

around soul, and I'll speak more on that in a moment but first I just want to say happy solstice

2021 whether you're up here or down there to the ancient Caldians and also in platonic philosophy, this point, this cancer point, thought of as the gate of man, it's a portal where souls descend from the heavens into the bodies of the newly born,

but I like to think of it as well of a portal still, a whole if you will where perhaps we experience a greater dimensionality of our own relationship to soul that we're able to meditate from this incredible point and look

back to six months ago and remember that the great conjunction happened then.

To project six months in the future and where do we want to be at that point in time.

Just an interesting idea and I know that it may seem like in this moment Saturn is winning in the square to Uranus.

The second square actually just recently happened, but I do I hope that in this

conversation it will help to bring a deepening of your relationship to soul perhaps even

a new constellation will appear in your psyche by listening.

And speaking of holes to heavens, name of the show and of course my site. No guest in the history of the

podcast has ever commented on the name of the show with the invite email and Thomas was so into the the name of of the show he was talking about it like oh you know the pantheon and Rome has a similar idea and it's in the gospel of John and of course

the Hopi imagined that they could open their heads and be directed to the heavens these are all holes to

heavens he gets it. He gets it and I knew that because of that response in the beginning of our correspondence that it would be a wonderful conversation to be able to

record and share with all of you and if you're not familiar with who Thomas is

he's the author of many books nearly 30 of them in fact some of which have been New York
