Today we are talking about the PFF 50.

It's the 50 best players that we think going into the 2025 NFL season.

How you feel, I feel good about it.

Look, when you talk about a list like this, obviously everybody has their own opinion of it and we have ours. No, I'm sure. I'm sure the comments and the reaction is going to be civil. I'm sure that there's going to be no fandom involved at all whatsoever, you know, here on these rankings. I'm sure it'll be totally fine. Absolutely. You do the, you do the best you can without any bias whatsoever, right? That's the entire idea. We have the data. We have the numbers. And this is what comes out, right? And it's okay. It's a committee of people. We got a lot of opinions around the building, a lot of people. Even even up to, you know, this week I was talking to some people in our building. We still had some disagreements about it, but we have to come up with one list.

And this is what it's going to be. And this is the list. It was a lot of fun to put together. It was fun to put together because it's sort of a culmination of a lot of things. Like we do our position rankings going into the season. And it's sort of the same criteria. these lists, you can go about it in many different ways, right?

It's like,

okay, this is firmly we're ranking what these guys were in the 2024 season, so last season,

but the rankings that we do are often with a forward facing type of a thing. So there's a lot

of things that go into that. Of course, the respect for what have you done for me lately

always more rooted correctly the larger the sample size. So of course, we don't want to take away

or mitigate a great year that somebody might have had last season, but you're going to hear us throughout the show as we kind of talk about these rankings and

these players is we're going to talk a lot about two year three year five year sample sizes with some

of these players and man if they have elite grades with three and five year sample sizes it's hard

to maybe even if they had a bad 2024 really put them down too much because you just say, man, you know, history tells us, the number tells us they're going to bounce back there in a leaf of ball.

Absolutely. And that's the fun part about it and just the sheer depth of data that we have, that you can paint whatever picture that maybe whatever picture you want to, but there's a different picture when you look at one year. Even smaller during the season, one week, two weeks, six weeks, something like that. And then you take a three, four, five year sample size. And look, the guys on this list, we know they're elite players, right? In their, all of them in their own way. And that's why ordering them is always the fun part of it. But you mentioned

it. It's a matter of sample size. It's a matter of situation. It can be supporting cast. It can be, I mean, we see even like a guy like Sequin Barclay this year where you go, okay, he's on the Giants. He's on a team that can't block for him. And then he goes to a team that's maybe the best blocking team in football and you see a different player as far as the result, but the
