I'm Chris Harrison alongside Lauren Zima from our home office in Austin, Texas.

We woke to the very sad news that legendary dancing with the stars,

Judge, head judge, Lynn Goodman had passed away at the age of 78.

Lynn was just known as a wonderful, kind, giving man.

Obviously we all love to millions dead watching Dancing with the Stars all those years.

He died in his homes, surrounded by his family.

He had been battling bone cancer for quite some time.

It stepped away from the show to spend time back home.

But when so much in this day and age is made of people that are divisive, people that are angry,

why not do a show about someone that everybody just loved?

And Lynn was one of those guys that everybody could just rally around.

Even when he was being kind of critical of the dancers, you knew it came out of a good place.

They all respected him, 100%.

And we wanted to give a couple of those people who worked with him for so long,
