Whoa, you know, the rhetoric du jour is to call someone a political extremist.

Ooh, extremist.

Well, an extremist is a person who holds extreme or fanatical, political, or religious views, especially one who resorts to or advocates

extreme action.

Might it just be called convictions? I don't know, but the mainstream media loves to talk

about people who hold

conservative values as being synonymous with extreme beliefs and behavior in fact to be

a conservative has now become well pretty much interchangeable with being a

fanatic a radical a zealot fundamentalist fundamentalist hard-liner, die-hard, militant,

bigot, sectarian, ultra-partisan maniac.

Ooh, and the left screams, Amen.

You know, we live in a day in which flying an American flag immediately

gets you labeled, backing the blue, or speaking up for first responders or military heroes

Lumps you in with an unsavory crowd believing the government should leave you alone to live your life

Sanctifying life is precious operating under a traditional value system, believing in the

Bible, or even the Constitution of the United States wanting to put America first, pursuing

exceptionalism, hell even using the word exceptionalism, can get you castigated into the fires of political ire and

mainstream scrutiny. Who boy these are rough times we're living in but

opening the borders to all comers killing killing kids in the third trimester, using abortion

as birth control, mutilating or harmonally altering children, banning political opponents

from ballots, interfering in elections, and cheering on the advent of World War 3 while fighting and funding proxy wars
