Summary

Patrick talks with a listener who hasn’t been back to Church since the lockdowns and is scared she’s going to go to hell because she is no longer Catholic

  • John - Edith Stein was one of the nuns killed by the Nazi’s. It was more complicated than people realized.
  • Patrick recommends his book, “Pope Fiction”
  • Mark - My parents grew up during this time in Holland. It was chaos, but a lot of great saints came out of it.
  • Pam - A Catholic Priest said that I would burn in hell because I had children out of wedlock and he refused to baptize my kids.
  • Karen - I was baptized at the age of 22 even though I told the priest I didn't believe a lot of the things that were being taught. I have since fell away from the Church. Am I doomed to hell?
  • A "de-extinction" company wants to resurrect a woolly mammoth by 2027
  • Pat – Do you need to be in a state of grace to have a valid sacrament of marriage?

1:04.0

And what I wanted to relate was Edith Stein or St. Benedict over the cross.

1:10.0

She was the Jewish convert to Catholicism and became a nun and lived in Holland at the time of her arrest.

1:17.7

And there were many other born Jews who had actually converted to Catholicism and was involved in the faith at the same time.
